Houston Chevron Marathon

OVERVIEW: MMOB volunteers will be volunteering as Road Guards assigned to “guard” a section of the road within the runners’ 42 km route. They'll help make sure the assigned road section is clear of debris and will be provided with plastic bags to discard of debris. Additionally, they'll help keep spectators off the road and must report to attending police officers if anything suspicious happens that demands their attention.

LOCATION: Corner of Main St. and Sunset Blvd (map). The marathon representative, Sergio Banuet, will be waiting for the MMOB volunteers with Road Guard vests and instructions.

REGISTRATION:

1) Aside from registering on the MMOB website, volunteers must ALSO register on the HCM website by clicking on the following link: Volunteers - Chevron Houston Marathon

2) Click on "JOIN 2022 RACE CREW" and the registration form will pop up.

3) When reaching the "Volunteer Group" section, click on the dropdown menu "Memorial Mustang Outreach Bunch (MMOB)"

4) When reaching the SHIFT APPLICATION section, keep scrolling until they find Sector 3 Course Marshal. Check the square that says Main South University Blvd West – Sergio Banuet (please see attached picture!).

5) Scroll to the end, check acknowledgement of terms and conditions and click the REGISTER button. You will receive a confirmation email.
